Take a bowl of water, a straw, and add a little dish soap, then use this game to bring kids with anxious energy down to a calmer place with the long breath out. (Activate the parasympathetic nervous system). This activity is best on your belly, but I demonstrate kneeling.

I used to make this back when I was in high school. I had so much fun doing my own bubble volcano back then. I know that it is a lot of work, but if you love what you are doing, then you will just cruise through it. I hope that I can go and make a lot of great memories with my child. I hope that he, too, can be fond of what I love, and that is science, my friend.
